Glasgow Motorsport Show
The
Glasgow Motorsport Show takes place on Thursday 27th January in
Glasgow's George Square. Starting at 9.00am the show will have displays
from a variety of Companies associated with motoring and motorsport.
The
show will also have the full 49 car line-up of Monte Carlo Historique
Rally entries as part of the Parc Fermé, so you can see at close
quarters these fantastic Classic cars.

At
4.00pm the Monte Carlo Rally entries will proceed to Blythswood Square
to prepare for the official start, which begins at 6.30pm, Lord
Provost of Glasgow Bob Winter will flag away the crews on their
1300 mile route to Monte Carlo.
A full day of activities for the Classic car enthusiast.
You
can also meet some of the entrants, and hear stories of Monte
Carlo Rallies in the sixties from non other than Stuart Turner, at the
Grand Gala Dinner on Wednesday 26th in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Stuart
not only competed in his early days, but ran the BMC competition
department that took Paddy Hopkirk and Henry Liddon to a Monte win in a
