Blairgowrie Rotary Classic Vehicle & Aircraft Private Viewing 18 November 2018 ENTRY LIST CLOSED
The
Rotary Club of Blairgowrie has been given unique access to one of Britain’s
largest collections of historic vehicles. The viewing is at Perth Airport (A94
- 3 miles north of Perth) originally called Scone Aerodrome which opened in
1936 and was used by the RAF Squadron 666 during WW2. The object is to raise funds for -
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance and Rotary International Numbers are strictly limited to 200 with a reserve list of ten in case of cancellations.
These will form 10 escorted groups of 20 to view the collection. each group starting at 30 minute intervals.
Catering facilities will be available.
Programme:-
A – New Showroom - Best 25 vehicles B – Two tier hangar - 250 vehicles C– Aero Club - 90 aircraft, many historic D – Air Service Training - aircraft and engines
E– New Shed – more vehicles | |
Total viewing time for each tour is expected to be 3 hours.
We
ask that each viewer donates at least £15 and that wherever
possible the donation is gift aided. Cash and cheques will be collected
on arrival and Gift Aid forms will be available. Sorry, we won’t
be able to process credit cards.

can. A life-saving mission by Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance
